Amazon has officially entered the living room with the announcement of its brand new Amazon Fire TV, a $99 streaming set-top box that is available now.
We’re sure you heard this news, but did you know this new box is compatible with the Logitech Harmony Smart Keyboard? That’s right. Now Harmony Smart Keyboard customers can control their Amazon Fire TV by using the included USB receiver. It’s easy to add the device, just go to the Harmony App, add Fire TV as a device, and create the Harmony Activity.
With the Logitech Harmony Smart Keyboard, you can easily search for programs on your favorite streaming apps, such as Amazon, Netflix and Hulu, and navigate menus with ease. The Harmony Smart Keyboard comes with the Harmony Hub, which means you can also use your smartphone as a remote through the Harmony App to control your Amazon Fire TV, along with the rest of your entertainment system.
