Today, we’re excited to announce the Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 – the keyboard that loves a wash. From a light dusting to a rinse in the kitchen sink, this keyboard is easy to clean and easy to dry.
We’ve all experienced that moment of distraction, followed by panic, resulting from a cup of coffee or soda, or anything else, spilling all over our keyboard. That’s life. Spills, messes and mishaps will happen, but that’s okay because this keyboard can handle whatever life throws at it. That’s why we call it life proof.
Check out the video below to see the new Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 in action, and let us know what you think in the comments!

I know it’s listed as a Windows keyboard, but is is Mac compatible?
Logitech | August 22nd, 2012 at 11:47
Hi Tere, the keyboard was designed for use with Microsoft Windows® XP, Windows Vista® and Windows® 7. It is not optimized for Mac.
Rick | August 22nd, 2012 at 13:36
No mac support? Really? In this day and age? Wow, so shocked and saddened. Like it’s that difficult to add mac support
Logitech | August 22nd, 2012 at 13:44
We’re sorry about that Rick. We’ll be sure to pass your feedback onto our team.
Jane | August 22nd, 2012 at 14:05
Please make it compatable with a MAC!!!!!! I am a Macer, but not a speller
Thanks
Logitech | August 22nd, 2012 at 14:18
Hi Jane, we will pass your suggestion on to our team.
Tere | August 22nd, 2012 at 14:12
Optimized for Mac and will work on Mac are two different animals. Rick, when you say not optimized, what do you mean. What functions will work on a Mac and which won’t? For example, will the F-keys function despite not being labeled with e.g., dim for F1 and bright for F2?
Hans | August 22nd, 2012 at 16:08
For me it’s also imported to have this for a Mac .
Logitech | August 22nd, 2012 at 20:17
Thanks for the feedback, Hans!

My fiance’ just IMed me about this keyboard and said “I so need one of those!” We have been replacing her keyboards regularly due to spills of every kind imaginable. Finally, a nice looking washable keyboard! I hope the keys have a good feel when you use them, too! Is there another keyboard that you make that has a similar keypress feel to this one?
Logitech | August 22nd, 2012 at 20:10
Most of our keyboards utilize the same keyboard design. Comfortable typing is a given thanks to a familiar layout with F-keys and number pad, and it all comes in a unique, contemporary design.
Cheski | August 23rd, 2012 at 02:38
Could you notify me when this one comes out?
Logitech | August 23rd, 2012 at 03:36
Hi there! The keyboard is currently available for preorder on our website!
Tere | August 23rd, 2012 at 05:00
Message from Francis in Tech Support.
The keyboard doesn’t have a software for Mac. It will only work as a plug-n-play. It can work on Mac as a regular keyboard.
Mark | August 23rd, 2012 at 17:05
Come on Logitech, surely you see the Mac market share moving in the ” + ”
direction.
I would order one right now if it had a set of “Command keys” instead of the funny flags.
Cheers
Mark

Hello, will this keyboard be available in Brazil?
Brandon | August 25th, 2012 at 14:33
I just preordered this in the US and was wondering if I could get some expected dates as to when this keyboard will start shipping. The vague statement of towards the end of the month isn’t helpful considering I would already call this towards the end of the month.
Also, to all you Apple people complaining about the keyboard, it should work like any other keyboard in the world on any computer as long as it meets some basic standards. The only thing you may lack is if they design some special software for it that is only Windows based, but what does that really provide besides maybe special mapping or functionality of the keys beyond the norm. I personally don’t care because I run Linux most of the time and this whole “make it Mac compatible” thing is just silly. At the very least it will function like every other generic keyboard out there for you Mac users.
Another thing, the whole Windows/Command logo thing is nothing to fight about. My suggestion would be to just make it neutral and call it what it really is, a mod key; Mod 2 or Mod 4 if I’m not mistaken. Maybe even create a generic/universal symbol to use.
