Logitech Adds New Features and Capabilities for Harmony Pro Users and Installers

We’re happy to announce today the addition of new features to the Harmony Pro Portal, an exclusive site for professional installers using Logitech Harmony. The portal allows installers to manage an unlimited number of Harmony customer accounts with real-time access to customize, configure and troubleshoot their setups, without rolling a truck. With this expansion, we’ve added an eLearning section with interactive training and monthly educational webinars that touch on timely topics and get dealers up to speed.

“Pro installers are a key part of the Logitech Harmony business,” said Rory Dooley, head of Logitech Smart Home. “We’re continually adding features to the Harmony Pro Portal to ensure installers have the tools they need to manage their clients’ homes, whether the setup is simple or complex. Our updated training content will help provide new installers with easy instructions, as well as offer seasoned Harmony dealers tips and tricks on the latest integrations.”

The Logitech Harmony Pro hub-based remote includes all of the most popular features of the Harmony Elite remote such as dedicated buttons for instant access to entertainment and smart home controls, a touch-screen UI that communicates the status of all home devices at a glance, and vibration feedback. Unique to the Harmony Pro are the eight precision IR emitters, multi-zone support for AVRs, and double the warranty time of retail remotes. And following a lot of dealer feedback, the portal can now be used to control up to 15 devices per home, up from the previous limit of 6.

New Integrations Provide Installers New Ways to Control Customers’ Homes

Part of the power of Logitech Harmony Pro is its ability to control more than 275,000 different devices and platforms. Taking it a step further, we’re excited to announce the following integrations:

– Denon HEOS – Available before the end of September, installers can set up Denon HEOS speakers and HEOS-enabled AVRs from Denon and Marantz with Logitech Harmony Pro. Through the new integration, you can create a “Listen to HEOS” Harmony Activity with multiple speakers in a network, setting the starting volume and favorite channel; play, pause, and control volume in an Activity for a group of speakers or an individual one; switch your favorite channels in a running Activity; and extend your running HEOS Activity to other rooms in the home.

-RA2 Select by Lutron – Installers can use Logitech Harmony Pro with RA2 Select by Lutron – only available through the  PRO channel – to dim lights, lower shades, and start a movie with one button press for their customers.

-Sony – Starting today, installers can access Sony IP control over TVs using Harmony Pro. Now you don’t have to worry about IR signals reaching the TV, especially when you bring in app control or RF controlled systems.
