DreamHack

Last month Logitech took our newly launched Logitech G products to The Gathering in Norway. This weekend, we were in Stockholm, Sweden, for the annual DreamHack Open event.

Logitech

The DreamHack brand is known internationally as one of the biggest gaming competitions in the world, with four tournaments taking place over the course of 2013 leading up to the Dreamhack Winter 2013 grand finals this November. The world’s best StarCraft II: Heart of Swarm players assemble at each event, competing for a total prize purse of around $183,000. More coveted than the money, however, is the prize of champion. Over 50,000 people attended the events last year, with 10 million visitors participating online.

April’s DreamHack event saw Logitech supporting gamers as a main sponsor with an additional space dedicated to a ShootMania competition. This allowed anyone at the event to get their hands on our latest line-up of Logitech G products. DreamHack, as always, had organized a simply incredible tournament, culminating in a truly exciting final between eventual winner Leenock from FXOpen and the home favorite Alliance NaNiwa. The livestream saw 120,000 viewers and #DHOpen was a trending topic on Twitter – huge!

Check out some pictures to give you a taste of the event, and if you’re interested, you can find more here. Thank you to DreamHack and everyone involved. We’re already looking forward to DreamHack Summer in June. See you there…

  • Hi,

I am the owner of a gaming lan center located in East Los Angeles area. My store will be grand opening mid June. Myself personally have been a fan of Logitech G series gears and use them for my personal computer. I would like to talk a potential full/partial sponsorship or partnership with you guys. However, i’ve had a hard time contacting the right department. Is there a chance that you might help me into talking to the right personal about this matter?

Thanks for your assistance in advance.

    Derek
