Logitech in the News

This week, we announced the newest addition to our line of Harmony remotes, the Logitech Harmony Touch, an advanced universal remote control for your home entertainment system. Articles from the announcement immediately appeared on a variety of tech outlets, including Engadget, Gizmodo, PCMag and Ubergizmo. Additionally, Mashable and Big Picture Big Sound both posted reviews of the new remote. Mashable complimented the “new look and feel” of the remote; while Big Picture Big Sound touted the remote’s color-coded buttons for advanced features and addition of necessary hard buttons, including DVR.

Also this week, the Wall Street Journal included the Logitech UE Boombox in a roundup on how to “Upgrade the A/V,” which appeared in the “Off Duty” lifestyle section. Writer Michael Hsu featured only three products in the roundup, which he recommended as, “… essential gear for cranking the volume,” when using your tablet. He highlighted the boombox’s powerful sound and clarity. ZDNet posted a review of the Logitech UE 900 Noise-Isolating Earphones, characterizing the sound as “clean, crisp and authentic,” and GadgetMac posted a review of the Logitech UE 4000 Headphones, noting that the 4000s look “trendy, clean and fully modernized.”

Lastly, Bloomberg included the Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System and Logitech Alert 750e Outdoor Master System in their roundup of Top 15 Tech Gifts for 2012. They highlighted the devices’ night vision capability, motion-triggered recording and ability to view live video from your mobile device or tablet.
