Logitech in the News

This week in Logitech news, ABC ‘Nightline’ featured Logitech customer Jeanne Thomas and her story of how she caught two thieves in her home while she was at work, thanks to her Logitech Alert security system. In the segment, Jeanne said the Logitech Alert security system was a “snap to set up with no wires or confusing configurations.” In addition to the segment, an online story appeared on ABC News. The online article quoted James Lopez, general manager of digital video security for Logitech, as he gave advice on keeping the home secure, and described how video surveillance systems can make a difference. Check out the ‘Nightline’ segment here and the online story here.

In other news, Dave Smith of the International Business Times reviewed the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard cover, naming it the “Best Apple iPad accessory ever.” He opened up by writing it’s “hands-down, without a doubt” his new favorite accessory. The August 2012 print issue of MacLife featured the Ultrathin Keyboard Cover in its Crave section, which lists the gear that editors are lusting after. Chris Aguilera of MacLife chose the keyboard cover as the product he’s most interested in right now, noting it’s the most “elegant iPad keyboard case” he’s seen.

Lastly, PCWorld editors included the Logitech Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal Remote in a tech spotlight of “TV Remotes on Steroids,” which appeared in the August 2012 print issue. Editors called out the product’s 3.5-inch screen, backlight for viewing in the dark and IR/RF technology. They also noted that it connects to Windows and Mac PCs and works with up to 15 gadgets.
