The crowd started lining up long before the doors opened at last night’s gdgt Live in New York, as people could not wait to check out all of the new products on display from the various exhibitors. The event drew more than 1,500 eager attendees, many of whom stopped by Logitech’s booth to take a peek at our newest offerings.
While we had a number of products in our display, there were a few that were crowd favorites. The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover turned heads with its sleek aesthetics and compact design, and the Logitech Solar Keyboard Folio won its fair share of admiration for its sleek solar panel and two-year battery life. In fact, we had an Engadget camera crew stop by, and they’ll be posting video of these keyboards soon – keep an eye out for it! Also a crowd favorite, the Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse drew “oohs” and “ahhs” from the many gamers in attendance.
We also had the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 on display – the fact that it can pair with up to 3 Bluetooth devices won fans. And the Logitech Global Graffiti Collection, Logitech UE Air Speaker, and the Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System and Logitech Alert 700n Indoor Add-On Camera all drew more than a few curious onlookers.
Our Recycle Your Mouse swap – held in conjunction with TerraCycle – was a smashing success, as people clamored to replace their old mice with brand new mice from our Color Collection. In fact, demand was so high that we ran out of mice 90 minutes into the event! Luckily, we also had earphone winders on hand, and we gave away a total of 450 these as well.
