Switchfoot is an awesome band that is known not only for their rockin’ music and their killer live shows but also for their charitable causes. Every June, they host the annual Bro-Am surf contest/fundraiser which benefits “StandUp for Kids,” an organization that helps homeless and street kids and Jon Foreman, their lead singer, also performed live last month at the “Help Haiti Live” benefit concert in Nashville that benefited Compassion International’s Haiti Disaster Relief Fund.
