Logitech Unveils First-of-its-Kind Console on the Go – PowerShell Controller + Battery

If you’re one of the millions of people who play mobile games on your iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, or iPod touch (5th generation) running iOS 7, you’re going to be interested in our latest Logitech G product – the Logitech® PowerShell™ Controller + Battery.  The PowerShell Controller + Battery turns your compatible iOS7 device into a pocket sized mobile console, all while roughly doubling your play time with its on board battery.

To use this first-of-its-kind mobile gaming console, simply insert your compatible iPhone or iPod touch into the controller as you would with a standard case. The analog off-screen controls of the Logitech PowerShell Controller + Battery deliver a gaming experience that’s familiar to console players everywhere, with a D-pad, shoulder triggers and face buttons that allow you to control game play.

The controller is compatible with a rapidly growing list of popular games available now for purchase from the iTunes store.   You can order your PowerShell today at the Apple Online Store or BestBuy for delivery beginning in December.

  • I think it’s a huge missed opportunity to not place the d-pad and buttons below the iPhone. Now it’s a huge horizontal device and it doesn’t really make sense. Having the d-pad and buttons below the iPhone would have been much more comfortable for gaming.

  • Its a bold move. I’ve always liked Logitech products so I hope the Logitech® PowerShell™ Controller & Battery is successful for Logitech.

  • So far it works great . I see a lot of people complaining about the price and it not having analog sticks . We’ll I’ve tested 7 games out on it , and I’m very happy with the experience and fun I’m having with it . I think it’s well worth the price , because I’m using airplay , and it makes games like Bastion so much better . I’m looking forward to playing Punch Hero’s and Kingdom and Dragons , from Gamevil . So , Logitech , get in touch with the developers , ask them to update their games to be compatible with the Powershell !
