Navigate in Style, Ease and Comfort with Logitech’s New Products for Apple

Great news Apple fans! Today, Logitech announced the expansion of its Apple lineup with two exciting new Bluetooth® products: the Logitech® Bluetooth® Easy-Switch™ Keyboard for Mac®, iPad® and iPhone® and the Logitech® Rechargeable Trackpad for Mac. Both products bring enhanced navigation and control of your favorite Apple products through new dimensions of design, touch and illumination.

Thanks to Logitech’s Easy-Switch technology, the Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard can pair with up to three devices simultaneously and switch among them with the push of a button. Meaning, you can move from typing an email on your Mac to taking notes on your iPad to replying to a text on your iPhone by simply pressing a button. The keyboard also features the familiar Mac layout with Mac-specific keys and a sleek, aluminum design to match the Apple style.

The Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad has a silky smooth glass surface that enables easy navigation. With a touch area that’s larger than the typical Mac touchpad, it’s easy to take advantage of the full range of Mac OS® multi-touch gestures. The trackpad also makes battery hassles a thing of the past. A battery indicator light will let you know when power is running low so you can simply plug in via USB and keep working while it recharges.

Tell us in the comments below, what do you think of these two new products?

  • Grossartig!
Wäre um so schöner, wenn es für PPC Rechner (unter OSX 10.5.8) auch Treiber von Logitech gäbe für Multi-Touch-Gesten. (Das ist ja gerade das Problem des Apple-Touchpads!).
    Darf man hoffen..?

  • The possibility to pair with three devices is really great! Thats what I need. But I am looking forward for a lower price.

    • We apologize for any confusion with iPad compatibility. The Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad is not designed for the iPad but designed with your Mac in mind. These include the MacBook, MacBook Air and iMac. Please let us know if you have any other questions regarding these new products.

  • Nice to see, that you’re doing bluetooth devices for the Mac 🙂 just waiting for a full size bluetooth keyboard for the Mac, there is still none on the market.

Want the features of the Mac S530 keyboard with bluetooth, backlit and in durable aluminum design.

    Please make it happen 🙂

    • We’re glad that you noticed us trying to provide a variety of products that will complement Macs. We thank you for your added suggestions and encourage you to check back in the future for any such updates.

    • Hi Angel, the Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad is not compatible with PC. It is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later. Let us know if you have any other questions.

  • I like the idea of a keyboard for a tablet or a phone, even if some say it is clumsy. I have several touchscreen gadgets, iPads, iPhones, and Android phone and tablets. The main problem is always the feedback of the buttons on the keyboard. Good to know you have this keyboard for iOS devices – hope you also offer another for Android.

Also it would be great if the buttons were also white, not black.

  • I am not sure whether this was already answered in the previous question from Rod, but is the keyboard compatible with Android phones (like the Logitech bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 which is compatible with all kind of devices). I would like to use it with my Macbook Air and my Android phone.

  • Question: Is there any plans to add the ‘home key’ capability for iOS to the 810. That is the ability to simulate the home key press on the actual tablet/phone. Note your dedicated iPad keyboard has this.

    • Hi there! Unfortunately we cannot comment on any unannounced product updates, but please stay tuned by checking back with us here and on our website. We will be certain to pass along your comment to our team. Thanks for posting!

  • Im Logitech K760 keyboard user having iMac and Mac mini. cool device.!!!

Question: In case BT headphone, I can not switch easily between both Macs with Sony DRC-BT30. Im looking for new BT headphone supporting Easy-Switch technology as like K760.

    please help me ~
    thanks.

    • Hi, have you visited the Logitech forums? You can find a lot of information and tips from other Logitech users. Let us know if that helps.

  • Any plans to have the US English version of this or the K810 available in Europe? Some power users like developers and sysadmins might prefer that layout because they find the longer shift key and the straight enter key (instead of the L-shaped one) much better. I find the US layout more comfortable even after using a keyboard with UK English layout for years almost exclusively.
