Logitech in the News

This week, Logitech announced that it has extended its relationship with two top North American professional gaming organizations. In addition to providing early feedback and design input on products before they go to market, Cloud9 (C9) and Team SoloMid (TSM) will continue to exclusively use a mix of Logitech G hardware peripherals – including headsets, mice, keyboards and mouse pads – whenever they play.

g430Editor Steven Walton of TechSpot featured the Logitech G430 Surround Sound Gaming Headset in a roundup of sub-$100 gaming headsets. Steven praised the Logitech G430 Surround Sound Gaming Headset for its comfortable design, excellent build quality, competitive price point, great software and decent features. He positively stated, “For the money, we think it’s going to be difficult to find a better sounding headset than the Logitech G430.”

 

UEBOOMKatie Boehret of Re/code reviewed the UE MEGABOOM and UE BOOM, and took a first look at the multi-speaker pairing functionality that’s to come. In her testing, she highlighted that the “stereo sound with two of the UE Megaboom or Boom speakers sounded rich, filling each room” and concluded that “if the multi-speaker setup works successfully when it’s widely available this summer, it will become a viable option for people who want simple stereo setups in their homes.”

 

K480The Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480gained yet another fan this week! In his review, Dan Cohen at Gear Diary described the Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 as “a Multi-Device Wonder” and praised it for being designed for use with up to three devices, regardless of computing platform. He noted that it is the “ideal keyboard” for him to have in his home office, and noted that it has replaced his previous Apple keyboard.

 

HarmonyFinally, “Metro Mom” Barbara Arondin featured the Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480, Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover and Logitech Harmony Ultimate Home in a segment about great birthday ideas on Dallas-based KTXD-TV. In honor of KTXD-TV’s second birthday, Barabara shared her recommendations for nontraditional birthday and anniverary gifts, including the three Logitech products, in the clip available here.
