Our Best Vines So Far…

If you follow us on Twitter, you might have seen just how much fun we’ve been having on the social video sharing platform Vine. We’ve enjoyed our new Vine laboratory so much that we thought it’d be fun to give an inside look at what it takes to get these babies up and running and the major tips and tricks we’ve learned along the way. Take a look at our favorite creations so far, the process behind them and think about how you can share a few Logitech Vines of your own!

First Vine Post

In our very first post, Forget fingerprint sensors, when is *this* happening?, we featured a sweet mouse from the Logitech Eye Candy Color Collection made entirely out of, you guessed it, candy.

Once we decided on the theme and settled on Skittles as our candy of choice, the rest was a lot of trial and error, sneaking candy and dealing with sticky fingers.  The result is a fun, quick, and to-the-point Vine that jump-started our Vine Lab! We hope you find it as delicious as we did.

Unboxings

After getting the first post out of the way, we decided to explore neat ways to showcase the joys of unboxing Logitech products. In Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Ultrathin Keyboard Folio we went with the classic Princess Pride shout out – inconceivable, we know. Highlighting the newly launched Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, the six seconds take you on a quick little unboxing journey.

Upgrade Equipment, Up the Vine

Vines are best executed when you have a sturdy base. With an iPhone tripod, we could manipulate the shots as needed and count on consistent filming from one specific angle.  Check out the Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 for a look at the results! Our Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 literally pops right out at you.

Natural Light is Vital to the Vine

We kept experimenting in the Vine Lab and realized the importance of natural light with this post, Logitech Wireless All-In-One Keyboard tk820Lots of testing and retesting went into finding the perfect angle. It all came down to the position of our lovely wood table and the All-In-One Keyboard tk820.

Exploring new frontiers is always fun and we’re really enjoying what you can do with six seconds. Our biggest takeaway from the first few posts is the trial and error that comes with planning and delivering. Don’t get discouraged if you have to test out the story a few times – it’s worth the diligence.
