Today we’re introducing the Logitech® Ultrathin Touch Mouse, featuring sleek lines, brushed aluminum and an ultra-thin design that perfectly complements the modern look of today’s most popular computers.

In addition to being ultra-chic, the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse is ultra-portable with a thin, feather-light design that slips nearly invisibly into any computer sleeve or pocket.

Available in two colors, the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse T630 in black is designed for PC users while the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse T631 for Mac in white perfectly complements the look of MacBook computers. With the download of Logitech software, these mice let you take full advantage of the multi-touch navigation in OS X® and tap into a full range of Windows® 8 gestures – depending on what you prefer.

  • Can I get a white version of the ‘ultrathin touch mouse’ and it for windows? Or is the white varient tuned specifially and exclusively for Mac?

  • Will the white variant be available at Australian electronic retailers? Because the Logitech T620 Touch Mouse (white version) is not available at any local retailers, only online.

  • This might be just what I’ve been waiting for… Does it support 3 or 4 finger gestures? I currently use a magic trackpad and use some of the advanced multi touch gestures such as spaces switching and mission control view.

    • Ruthuraj,

Yes you will be able to buy the product online. The Logitech® Ultrathin Touch Mouse designed for Ultrabook™ will be available in September while the Logitech® Ultrathin Touch Mouse designed for Mac will be available in November.

  • Seems like there are 2 different Ultrathin Touch Mouse. As what was mentioned: “PC version will ship in September and the Mac in November.” Does this mean that a person who has both a Mac and a PC would need to buy separate Ultrathin Touch Mouse for each platform? If that is the case, then it is not ideal for folks who initially bought for a particular platform and later moved to another platform.

  • No mention is made on the site or in the videos of how the mouse click works. Is it mechanical, such as with Apple’s Magic Mouse, where pressing on it physically moves the screen down and makes a click? Or is it a gesture click, where tapping the surface doesn’t move anything mechanically but produces the click by reading the tapping gesture?

    • Paul,

You can both click and use gestures. There is the traditional left and right click as well as a middle click. You can also scroll vertically and horizontally with gestures. Double taps and swiping with two fingers trigger OS navigation. Hope this helps.

  • How does this mouse work with Mission Control and switching between Spaces in OS X? Currently with my Magic Mouse, I double-tap with two fingers to launch Mission Control and I swipe left/right with two fingers to switch Spaces.

    • The Ultrathin Touch Mouse supports the same gestures as the Magic Mouse:

      - Switch between pages by swiping one finger left/right
      - Switch between spaces (desktops) by swiping two fingers left/right
      - Smart zoom by double-tapping with one finger
      - Mission Control by double-tapping with two fingers

We also have one additional function that can be enabled with our software: A middle click button (click in center of mouse). The middle click can be assigned to different tasks such as Launchpad, App Expose, Lookup, or simply middle click.

  • Will the new Ultrathin Touch Mouse be compatible with the unifying receiver?

Also, is the battery an internal rechargable (Li-Ion?) that could be compatible with any third party inductive charging systems?

  • I just ordered the black colored Ultrathin Touch Mouse for my MacBook Pro Retina. I am running the latest version of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5. Do I have to download any software to start using the Ultrathin Touch mouse via Bluetooth ?
If yes where can find the software?

  • I am using the mouse now for two day and i love it. One thing missing though; is it possible to configure the one finger double-tap as a left mouse click?
