Logitech Highlights from 2012

As 2012 comes to a close, we wanted to share a few of our favorite Logitech moments from the year, which was a busy one indeed.

As the world’s interest in tablets has continued to grow, so has Logitech’s portfolio of tablet accessories. Many of these products were considered favorites of the year, with the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover being called out as the top iPad accessory by a number of reviewers. The Logitech Solar Keyboard Folio for iPad also proved to be a popular accessory around the globe and kind to the environment to boot.

Additionally, some may argue this was an unofficial “year of the keyboard” for Logitech, with a variety of acclaimed keyboards announced. This year alone, Logitech announced its first-ever mechanical gaming keyboard, the Logitech Mechanical Gaming Keyboard G710+, and washable keyboard, the Logitech Washable Keyboard K310. And let’s not forget the keyboards with Logitech Easy-Switch technology that let you connect with multiple devices at once through Bluetooth and switch among them with the push of a button. The Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 is just one of three such keyboards introduced this year, and Gadget Review awarded it a perfect score.

In other big news this year, Logitech unveiled its new music line, Logitech UE, with the announcement of seven new products this summer, ranging from headphones and earphones to speakers and a smart radio. To celebrate, we held a number of events from London to Manhattan to Hong Kong.

Last but certainly not least, this year Logitech’s Digital Home Group was busy with the announcement of its newest Harmony remote, the Logitech Harmony Touch. This much-anticipated remote was well received with its intuitive color touch screen and customization. The team, with the help of E.T.’s own Dee Wallace, was also busy with the unveiling of the Logitech TV Cam HD, which lets you video call from your HDTV, meaning you and your family move around the room natural when video calling.

We’d love to hear what your favorite moments of 2012 were, and what do you want to see in 2013? Chime in, in the comments below!
