Today, Logitech UE unveiled a digital ad campaign celebrating the power of music.
Following on the heels of the August launch of the new line of Logitech UE earphones, headphones, wireless speakers and a smart radio, the campaign is centered on three compelling films, each designed to support the concept that music has the power to fuel ordinary people to do to do extraordinary things and endure even the most challenging environments.
The three films are all based on real-life moments in history where music inspired people to take action. We hope the videos – which will be available on websites throughout the U.S., UK, Sweden, and Switzerland– will spark emotions and resonate with people who live for music.
“Truce” tells the story of how, on Christmas Eve 1914 in the midst of World War I, a familiar carol inspired British and German soldiers to disobey their standing orders by putting their weapons down, making a moment of peace in wartime.
“Radio City” tells the story of a group of renegades in the 1960s that started a radio station in an abandoned sea tower to circumvent the UK Government’s restrictions on music
“Space” – the story of a 2007 spaceflight when every astronaut aboard used their extremely limited personal space to bring a music player to the International Space Station
