We’re excited to launch the Slice of Life Video Contest, our first video contest campaign led by Tongal. Tongal is working with us to crowdsource fresh, high-quality video content while propelling undiscovered talent. We want you to provide us with authentic ideas that spotlight your everyday life and, of course, get rewarded for them. Where else can you showcase your life, get paid $250, and become famous for 140 characters or less? Turn your ideas into high-quality videos about our new TV Cam HD!
This campaign will break down into three sections, Idea, Pitch, and Video. In the Idea phase, submit your tweet-sized concept of what should happen in the video. The five winning idea creators will each receive $250 and the pride of sharing this experience with your friends and family.
During the Pitch phase, we want to see your pitch for how YOU would go about producing this video based on one of the winning ideas. Five pitches will be selected to receive a $500 production advance and the Logitech TV Cam HD to help create their video in the final phase.
In the Video phase, 30-60 second videos will be created based on the previously selected winning materials. Other creators are invited to enter a “Wild Card” submission that’s not based on any winning material from the previous phases. The grand prize winning video will receive $12,000!
