A Month of Independence Celebrations

Across the world, many countries commemorate their independence in the month of July.

The United States celebrates its independence on July 4th – a day where barbeques and fireworks take over. Key to a proper 4th party is good food on the grill, apple pie and music. The Logitech UE Air Speaker streams music effortlessly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod, so you can focus on the burgers while enjoying the high quality sound.  “Stars and Stripes Forever” has never sounded so good!

Midway through the month, France celebrates Bastille Day to commemorate the storming of the Bastille fortress in 1789. Each year, a military parade is held on the morning of July 14 in Paris, which is broadcast on French TV and is one of the oldest and largest military parades in Europe. Can’t make it to Paris to view the parade this year? Queue up your television with Logitech’s Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote. You’ll have the best seat in the house, and won’t have to worry about battling with multiple remotes or crowds from the comfort of your couch!

Later this month, Columbia will celebrate more than 200 years of independence from Spain on July 20. There will be many festivals and events throughout the country, featuring traditional folk dances and songs that are important to each region.  For those traveling – between holiday celebrations, or for summer vacation – it’s easier than ever to take your music with you. Check out the Logitech Mini Boombox, a portable speaker that is small and lightweight enough to take wherever you go – but produces big sound!
