Logitech M600 Touch Mouse in Action

Filed: PC Peripherals, Product Videos

With summer right around the corner it’s time to think about hitting the road and taking a little time off work. In this day and age, many people want to stay connected even while they’re on vacation – with that in mind, the Logitech M600 Touch Mouse is the perfect full-size mouse for traveling. The M600, with the Logitech Flow Scroll software, offers swiping, scrolling, and surfing that’s reminiscent of the touch experience you have on your smartphone. Plus, because it operates on only one AA battery, you can travel light. Logitech Brand Manager Todd Walker explains how Logitech allows customers to take the touch experience anywhere with the Logitech Touch Mouse 600.

I like this mouse. Can’t buy any mouse unless it’s for a lefty. I have a logitech MediaPlay and I love it. But it is getting old. Where can I buy this locally?

Hi Becki, this mouse is easily transferable for people who are left-handed. You can purchase the Touch M600 Mouse right here on our website. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/mice/devices/touch-mouse-m600 .If you would like to purchase the mouse from a local store please let us know what area you are from so we can direct you to a retail store.

We aim to please! Your safest bet would be to order the product online. You could also pick it up at a local Best Buy but call ahead to make sure the item is in stock.

The M600 is a nice mouse, but I find the sensitivity when scrolling to lag a bit. Additionally it need more options in the mouse settings. I would love to be able to reverse the scroll direction so that it was in fact like scrolling on a mobile phone…

Hi Jeff, we truly appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind while designing updates and new products!

Having a reverse scroll option in Set Point would be invaluable to me. Since switching to a Mac, I got used to the scrolling on the track pad, so much so, that when moving back to my PC with logitech mouse, I am constantly scrolling the wrong way. It would be a really simple task for the Set Point developers to add this option. You can do it in Intellipoint driver for a mouse pad on my laptop, but not yet for my Logitech mouse. I would be grateful if my comments could be passed on to product development.

Hi there, i was just thinking that inverted scrolling would be brilliant for me… if i were to purchase this mouse. You see, i love the looks and the feel of this mouse, but it severely lacks in features. I have decided to wait a month, to see if you have an update, and if not im going to buy the microsoft touch mouse. It has way more features, especially for what im operating on, windows 7. it would be brilliant if you were allowed to input your own gestures, and if you could do horizontal scrolling, inverted scrolling, 3-finger gestures, etc.

your product, although aesthetically very pleasing, is starved of features and is quite boring. you are the highest quality computer accessories company i know, sort it out!

Adding reverse swiping would be nice also. Love the swipe from page to page, but I’m used to a mac trackpad and this is backwards for me. I’m always swiping the wrong way…lol

Love this mouse and it’s functions. Just add reverse scrolling and reverse swiping as options and you’ll have a big winner!!

Great input, Randy! We will definitely pass your feedback along to the rest of our team.

Add my vote to those who would appreciate the reverse scroll. I’ve configured my win7 pc with the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\HID\VID_???\????\Device Parameters\FlipFlopWheel, so scrolling works well (like a Mac) with other apps, but when I enable Flow Scroll on Chrome, it does not honour the changed direction, and scrolls in the “wrong” direction. So, currently I’m left with either the desired scrolling direction, or the nice smooth scrolling, but not both simultaneously.

Thanks for sharing those thoughts. We will be certain to pass them along.

Just got my m600 yesterday, and love it. Easy set up, fun to use, great form factor and aesthetics.

I was shopping for a new mouse for my laptop for a while and finally settled on this one – so far I’m thrilled.

Two things I would LOVE to see changed:

1. As mentioned above, an option to invert the swipe directions. Searching for a solution to that problem is actually how I found this page in the first place. I run mostly run into issues with the horizontal swipe for forward/back – I’m so used to my cell phone that the mouse seems counter intuitive. I’m okay with the vertical because it actually simulates a mouse wheel, so it feels natural.

2. Allow a right click without having to lift my left finger – this probably isn’t possible, because I have to assume it’s a hardware limitation – but it would be great in future models. Fixing this might also allow for a simultaneous right and left click – not that I can think of a need for that outside of Minesweeper ;)

Thanks for a great mouse, and for listening to my thoughts!

It would be nice to have the top of the mouse work as a track pad so you can navigate around the screen like a smart phone and pinch and expand items with a two finger action.

Can you let me know if there are updates of this kind planned or if the design of the current mouse will accomodate this.

Thanks

We cannot currently comment on updates, but we appreciate your suggestion and will pass it on to our team. Keep and eye on our website and blog for updates.
