Can you believe it’s already been about six weeks since the holidays? Reports say tablet ownership in the U.S. nearly doubled during the 2011 holiday season, from 10 percent to 19 percent between mid-December and early January. IDC also estimated in December that worldwide shipment of tablets in 2011 was at 63.3 million units.
If you’re one of these 63.3 million people now that you’ve had a few weeks with your tablet, your initial excitement may have plateaued.
For this reason, we’re sharing a few tips to keep the excitement alive:
- You can do a myriad of things with your tablet – surf the web, download apps, get directions – but if you want crystal clear sound look no further than Logitech’s Mini Boombox. Pairing with smartphones, tablets or other Bluetooth-enabled devices, this portable little powerhouse – which is about the size of two Rubik’s Cubes – lets you take big sound wherever you go. With 10 hours of battery life, it’s perfect for taking on the road, squeezing big sound into cramped quarters (we’re looking at you dorm dwellers!), or even pumping out some playlists for an at-home workout. It also has a speakerphone and built-in mic so you can make a phone call or video chat.
- To get the best mileage out of your tablet, protect it from the elements with Logitech’s Keyboard Case for iPad 2. Carefully crafted from precision-cut aircraft-grade aluminum, this case will save it from the bumps and bruises of the road. It also transforms into a trusty keyboard in portrait or landscape mode so they can click away in comfort. It pairs seamlessly via Bluetooth so that you can take care of business no matter where you are. This is one of my absolute favorites–I use it in every meeting!
- And just because you’re now using a tablet, there’s still no reason to shy away from a mouse! Logitech’s Tablet Mouse for Android 3.0+ brings cursor control to your device so you can put the power back in your hands. Scroll up and down through web pages or long documents, without having to reach for your touch screen. This wireless mouse pairs easily with Android tablets through Bluetooth.
