  • Dont stop me now? hahaha – Logitech have stopped a lot of customers – we cant connect to server to update our Harmony Universal Remotes- Logitech will have to make a new year resolution to sort out their rubbush service!

  • When can we expect Revue and Squeezebox to play nicely together? Is a squeeze player for android in development? “Logitech Loves – New Years Jams!” These would be great if I could use my Revue which is connected via optical to the best audio system in the house and via HDMI to my TV. The wireless is already connected as well. The Logitech Media Player DLNA app is a Joke. With the Squeezebox™ Controller App for my phone, the only piece missing is the TV connection. Maybe a Roku channel? Please provide a pretty TV interface, Don’t let Apple or Sonos win!

  • Hi,

whats going on with the SB Portfolio, we miss a successor to the BOOM?

I use 2 SB Radios, 1 Receiver and a iPod Touch with iPeng and a iPad with iPeng with playback option and also a Squeezeplayer.

Unfortunately i missed the closed out of the BOOM so i still wait for a successor, an i think i´m not the only one. Should look like a Radio with 2 Speakers and Battery….

Just have a look on the Squeezebox Group @ Facebook

  • well, i probably would not buy any squeezebox product now since half of the product family is obsolete. guys, do some announcements on what we can expect. do we really have to move to sonos or apple? why should I buy new products when everything looks like the whole squeezebox family is going to die?

where is the transporter, where is the boom? what about a Browser UI that looks like it would be 2012? cmon, you got a lot of work to do…

  • Sigh, is that it Amanda for Logitech Squeeze announcements for CES? If it is then the product is clearly at a deadend. Which is a real shame, but hey hoy, life moves on.

My investment will pay off over the next 3-years or so and at least as its open source many of us will be able to continue to make enhancements and changes to the product, but having logitech behind us building and designing new hardware would have been great.

I can understand TV and and streaming Internet TV is the new Wild West and a great profit line, but when it comes down to lifestyles music is much more useable and a great market segment but it needs a confident vendor delivering products, the lack of a CES announcement certainly doesn’t make Logitech a confident vendor. As Keith says, I guess we’ll be watching what Apple and Sonos do now…. sigh

  • Hi,

what I´m not understand that now, as Streaming really gets State of Art and easy to handle for “normal” users, SBS seems to stand still.

Have a look on Sonos, Cambridge Audio, Raumfeld by Teufel….. a lot of compeditor to SBS and the only Product I/we miss in the Portfolio is a Stereo Speaker System…
