This week in Logitech news, Google announced the next version of Google TV and Logitech confirmed that the software update for Revue boxes is coming soon, featuring a new simpler interface, improved search functionality for content, the Android Market, and more.  PC Mag featured a quote from Ashish Arora, the Logitech Vice President and General Manager of the Digital Home Group, who said “The new version of Google TV for Logitech Revue addresses users’ feedback to improve the overall experience and we’re very excited about the results.” Also this week, FOX News including the Logitech Alert in its article on “Vandal-Proofing Your Home” naming it a handy system that you to “hand out candy to the kiddies while keeping an eye out for tricksters sneaking around back.”

In other Logitech news, Gadget Review discussed the Logitech Wireless M525 Mouse noting it for its “unbelievable battery life” of up to 3 years or “almost 1100 days without replacing the M525′s batteries.”
