Are You Ready For Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?

If you’re a Call of Duty fan, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on two of our newest devices: the Logitech® Laser Mouse G9X and the Logitech® Gaming Keyboard G105 – the  official keyboard and mouse of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 3. Both offer enhanced precision and customization to give you a leg up on the competition.

The keyboard features six programmable G-keys, each with three mode states, so you can configure up to 18 possible macro combinations in any game you play. You can even record new macros on the fly. It features an optimized key matrix designed to let you use more keys simultaneously in FPS games, while convenient, one-touch controls give you instant access to volume, start, stop, pause, forward and back functions.

For the mouse, a gaming-grade laser offers precision at any hand speed up to 165 inches per second. On-the-fly, adjustable dpi lets you go from pixel-precise targeting (200 dpi) to lightning-fast maneuvers (up to 5700 dpi) without pausing the action, while full-speed USB delivers the performance you need with up to 1000 reports per second. The dual-mode scroll wheel features precise click-to-click, perfect for weapon selection in games. Or switch to frictionless hyper-fast scrolling to fly through long Web pages, when you’re not playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The mouse also has onboard memory for up to five ready-to-play profiles, so you can configure custom button assignments and DPI values, and easily switch between them without any software running.  You can even customize the weight of the device with up to 28 grams of extra mass that you can mix-and-match for optimum control.

Call of Duty fans, be sure to check out the Logitech Gaming Keyboard G105 Logitech Laser Mouse G9X and let us know what you think!

  • Wow! I’m addicted to all Call of Duty versions! this kind of mouse and keyboard are what I’m waiting for! especially design for Gamers!

  • Is Logitech ready??? I just downloaded the game manager tool for my G510 and G13 to play some MW3 and what do I find? It doesn’t have a MW3 profile???!!!!???? How can you have a MW3 keyboard and mouse but not a profile???

    • Hi imsplitbit,

Logitech Gaming Software v8.12 (the current version of LGS) shipped with a profile for Modern Warfare 3. It will be detected automatically after the software scans for games at the end of the installation process. If you already have the software installed you can run this process yourself. Click the down arrow under the plus sign in the Profiles list and choose “Scan For New Games”. Modern Warfare 3 will be detected even if you do not have one of the licensed products plugged into your system. If for some reason it does not autodetect, you can select it from the list manually after the “Scan For New Games” process has finished running. If “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” is not in the list of 233 profiles, you probably do not have the latest version of the software installed, and can download it from the link at the beginning of this reply.

  • Hello,

I cannot for the life of me get my F310 to run with MW3 on PC…I tried to manually program the gampad..nothing. Any advice?

    • Hi Justin,

MW3 does not natively support gamepads, so you’ll need to use the Profiler software to set up the gamepad for it. You’ve mentioned that you’ve already tried and have not been successful, so I’ll give you a few links that may help you get past the last hurdle and start playing.

      Creating a new profile
      Setting up thumbsticks for movement
      Setting up thumbsticks for mouselook

If you’ve done all these things and it’s still not working you can try setting your MW3 profile to be used all the time by clicking on Options/Global Profiler Settings and choosing “Apply Persistent Profile” and selecting your MW3 profile. This will help you check to see if you’ve got the profile looking for the correct executable.
