Today, the newest member of the Harmony Family, Logitech Harmony® Link, is available for purchase online at Logitech.com. And starting this weekend, you will be able to pick up Harmony Link in person at national retailers. Its free companion app will be available for download in the iTunes App Store and Android Market today.
With Harmony Link, we combined content and control to create a whole new experience that’s easy to navigate.
Working together, the Logitech Harmony Link App transforms your iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch® or Android® into a full-featured remote that can control your entertainment system with one touch and help you discover new content.
You can use your iPad to browse your favorite shows, channels and genres, all personalized to your specific taste. And thanks to the Harmony technology, you can turn on all the right devices and tune to the right channel with just one touch.
With unlimited choices of shows and movies available on TV today, we know finding great content isn’t always easy, but the new Harmony Link makes it simple to find new content and control it from a second screen.
All you’ll need to get started is the small Harmony Link device, an iPad, iPhone, iPod touch or Android smartphone, and a Wi-Fi connection. Download the free Logitech Harmony Link App and your mobile device will communicate with Harmony Link over your Wi-Fi network, so you can select an activity—like “Watch a Movie” or “Listen to Music”—and Harmony Link will automatically switch the right devices to the right settings.
Harmony Link means the end of multiple remotes and cumbersome onscreen program guides— it’s a smarter way to control your home entertainment and to find shows you will enjoy.
What will you watch first? Tell us about your favorite Harmony Link features in the comments below. And for a deep dive into the app, check out the video below.
Hello Ashish,
Link sounds interesting. Since this works over wi-fi – does it support submitting commands through a published API?

The Revue update is desperately needed and way overdue. When will we see it?
Will support for the Android Tablets be coming soon? i’d love this, but the iPad app is so much better.
HI,
I am very interested in the new LOgitech LInk remote and app.
When does it become available in Euroep (The Netherlands)?
Or can I just order it from a US store and use it in The Netherlands? Any limitations in that case?
Thanks, frans
Will these new apps work with the Logitech Revue, since it has Logitech Link inside, according to this post: https://blog.logitech.com/2010/11/24/harmony-link-and-the-logitech-revue/ ?
