World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Official Midnight Launch Event

As you might have noticed from my coverage of Blizzcon, I’m a huge World of Warcraft fan. That’s why it was so exciting for me to head down to Fry’s in Fountain Valley, CA for Blizzard Entertainment’s official midnight launch event for the newest WoW expansion, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The crowds were large, and Blizzard didn’t disappoint: food trucks, murloc balloon hats, t-shirts, performances from The Tavern Band and The Artist Formerly Known as Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain, a dance contest, and a ton of great giveaways made the night a huge success. I scored interviews with everyone from cosplayers to the CEO/President/Co-Founder of Blizzard himself, Mike Morhaime (which was a total geek out moment for me)!

Of course, playing Cataclysm is even more fun with my Logitech G9X mouse, which I’ve been using for a while now. It’s perfect for the discerning raider looking for a custom grip (and as a level 80 hunter, I’ve got to have my mouse turning down to a science).
