San Francisco is the beating heart of the tech community, and so when Logitech went searching for a host to represent in their Logitech Loft, they didn’t need to look any further than Nixie Pixel. She’s a gamer, a hardcore tech geek (she’s huge in the Linux/open source community), and a generally delightful chick! I got the pleasure of chatting up Ms. Pixel about her experiences hosting events in the SF Loft, and one thing’s certain: This girl knows her tech.
This is the last post I have about the Logitech Lofts! Though I’m sad to see them go, I can’t believe the tenacity and heart each host put into their events. Rob, Praneet, and Nixie all crafted events that showcased the fun and function of Logitech Revue with Google TV – not to mention their knack for letting their unique personalities shine through in each gathering. All of them did a job to be proud of, and I’m sure we’ll be hearing more from them in their different specializations. Thanks for all the great times, guys!
My brother and sister use Linux and we all have Quickcam orbit web cams. I was told that our web cams have no software that is offered by Logitech to run on a Linux OS. How can we communicate using our webcams?
I am running windows XP on this computer but do have another one that is running Linux
Thanks Don
