Every year, I make the epic trek to the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California for Blizzard Entertainment’s much-beloved Blizzcon event. It’s one of the biggest gaming events of the year — and being a level 80 blood elf hunter, I had to go check out what Blizzard has in store for Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, and (my fave) World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Diablo fans got a sneak peek at Demon Hunter, the final class for Diablo 3′s launch, WoW fans got to check out a near-final build of the Cataclysm expansion pack, and Starcraft 2 maniacs got to play four different Blizzard-crafted custom maps. In addition to the gameplay, contests, and developer panels, none other than the world’s most epic rock band closed out the show: Tenacious D!
Overall, it was an incredible experience — I can’t wait to see what Blizzard has in store for us next year — but in the mean time, check out my recap of this year’s Blizzcon!

Logitech should hook you up with some backstage action… and you should hook us up by wearing an Alexstrasza costume.
