From the Logitech Loft LA: Just a Concert in My Living Room, That’s All

Last night was an amazingly fun time at the Logitech Loft LA. Ultimate Ears, makers of custom in-ear monitors and universal fit headphones, hosted an acoustic set by the band Anberlin—right inside the Logitech Loft living room! We had a great mix of about 100 people in attendance, from music industry insiders to entertainment bloggers to mega Anberlin fans. And thanks to the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910, we were able to stream the concert live via UStream—where over 1,500 fans tuned in to watch.

The band put on a great show, and the guys were really social with the crowd. I had the opportunity to show the band and their crew how to use Logitech Revue, and they were really impressed with the product. Pretty much the same can be said of everyone else who took some time to play with the Revue—people love its simple interface but powerful features.

Ultimate Ears was also on-site with an audiologist doing fittings for custom in-ear monitors, and a lot of people took advantage. It’s really difficult to describe what the process is like, but let’s just say it feels a little like Play Doh briefly being injected into your ears. I know that sounds horrible, but it’s totally painless and only takes a couple minutes.

It was a really great night, and I hope Ultimate Ears decides to host another event at the loft. There’s nothing quite like an intimate penthouse concert overlooking the city of Los Angeles… especially with food, drink, friends, and ears full of Play Doh.
