Logitech in the News

If you didn’t check out the blog last week, then you missed a lot! It was a product announcement-packed week with the Logitech Alert, a complete HD digital video security system, the new Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i for iPod and iPhone, and three new G-series gaming products.

Engadget went hands-on with the Logitech Alert and said it’s “certainly easy to set up and, at around $300, won’t exactly break the bank.” CNET reports, “Later this year, Logitech says it plans to bring Logitech Alert to the TV by enabling Logitech Revue with Google TV customers. That means you’ll be able to check who’s at the front door or monitor the baby’s crib without leaving your couch.” They also tried out the Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i and said, “packed with a total of eight drivers, the S715i hits a sweet spot of price and sonic performance we’ve never seen before.”

Now, the gaming products! ZDNet and CNET highlight the specs for the wireless G930 headset, the G700 wireless gaming mouse and the G510 keyboard.

Another exciting week for the ‘Host with the Most’ campaign (did you apply yet?). GTVHub posted interviews with four of our host contestants: Adam Gibson, Allison Boring, Austin Craig, and Rod Kirby. Check ’em out and vote for your favorites!
