In my last post, I was pleased to announce Logitech + Google TV and I mentioned that the Logitech companion box will leverage our Harmony remote technology to give you seamless control over how you interact with your content.
But how exactly is Logitech’s Harmony technology come into play with Google TV? We will be offering an app that turns your smart phone (Android-based phones and iPhones) into a full featured, high-end Harmony remote.

I sure hope the Mac/pc software will get a mayor upgrade before you spend time on this.

As an android user I think this is great. But as a Squeezebox user, does this also mean seamless integration with the Logitech Squeezebox? ?Because that would absolutely would be a ‘must have’ for me.

Good news! Can you give details about how the iPhone app will “send” its signals? Is it going to use IR, RF or the network.
I’m currently using Harmony Remote with a wireless RF extender as my gear is installed behind the closet doors.
Kind regards,
Philip
