Logitech Laptop Speaker Z205 – Audio as Portable as your Laptop

If you’re like me, you take your laptop everywhere. And while I use it a lot for work, I also enjoy music and movies, play games and make video calls. It is here that I have always wanted better audio – to really experience music and get immersed in a game – but don’t want a speaker system that is clunky to carry around.

To solve this problem, I am pleased to announce the new Logitech Laptop Speaker Z205. This speaker was designed specifically for laptop and netbook computers – PC and Mac compatible. It has a lightweight, clip-on design that attaches securely to most laptops and netbooks, so you can easily use it anywhere.

And there is just one cable for sound and power. A single USB connection delivers power and pure, digital audio instantly – no software required. And a carrying case protects your speaker while inside your bag or briefcase.

Check out the video below to see how compact and easy to use the Z205 is.

Now you can immerse yourself in rich, full stereo sound for your music, movies, video calls, and everything else you’re enjoying on your laptop. The Logitech Laptop Speaker Z205 is expected to be available in the U.S. and select countries in Europe beginning in March for a suggested retail price of $39.99 (U.S.).

  • This speakers are very light in weight and this speaker uses a pair of drivers for stereo sound and gently but firmly clamps to the top of your laptop screen. It also uses a USB cord for power and sound distribution.

  • How loud does the speakers sound? I see no specifications about how many watts they omit nor the equivalent dBA values. Please provide those.

    • Hi Kasper,

Since they are USB powered, the Z205 speakers emit the maximum possible of 3 watts.

      Best,
      Robert

  • Visit Z-5500 THX system a little and expensive, but worth every bit, it seems to be their best of them, the bass is unreal! no complaints, just near the peop!
