Ultimate Ears at NAMM

We just returned from NAMM, where the Ultimate Ears booth was non-stop rockin’. The energy was high and positive, and the release of the Ultimate Ears 18, a 6 speaker, true 4 way design was a huge success. The best part of my job was watching artists’ and engineers’ faces light up when they hear them for the first time.

UE NAMM 5

Many thanks to Ray Luzier, drummer savant for Korn for stopping by and doing a signing.

The vibe was set by guitarist Robbie Gennet and vocalist Matt Kramer who very courageously and spontaneously took center stage and performed some gems in a killer acoustic set – the crowd was begging for more!

Finally, props to Stan Frazier of Sugaray for meeting and greeting at the booth, a long time UE friend of the family.

  • I am so excited to hear the news of new UE18,as I am having UE11 for over two years and I love it.
I am wondering if I could know how do you divide 4 way cross over into 6 drivers?
From what I saw in UE18 spec page, it looks like dual drivers x 3 way design.
    Thank you in advance.

    • Hi Sasaki,

Thanks for your question! Due to the unique patent-pending design, we are not at liberty to provide the details or topology of the new crossover design. However, we can tell you that it is indeed 4-way. UE strives to be the clear leader in the IEM product space and we are constantly innovating and developing new and unique ways to deliver sound. Our new crossover design further enhances the clarity of the sound delivered to the listener and we are very excited about it!

      Best,
      Paul
