The holidays are here, and December brings two great artists to watch:
The internationally recognized Academy Award winning duo – The Swell Season – has just come out with their second album. Following the success of a chart-topping single like Falling Slowly is no easy matter but this new album takes their music even another step forward. We’re very excited to have them as part of our program.

We’re also featuring 2008 BBC World Music winner Bassekou Kouyate. Bassekou has played with Taj Mahal, Bela Fleck, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raiit and so many others.
Bassekou has the privilege of being the first album on SubPop’s new label, the Next Ambience. Congratulations to Bassekou and SubPop. We look forward to even more great music from both groups!
